Our Cornhill on Tweed Gin is a small batch, traditional 'Northumberland' Dry gin, like a London Dry Gin, just a bit more Northumbrian.
We have developed this recipe over a number months and finalised it with the added botanicals of Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ginger and Rowan Berry.
The Rowan Berries we use for our gin are picked directly from the garden at at The Centre where our distillery is situated. The Rowan berry cuts through the other more earthy botanicals nicely giving a lovely balance to our gin which creates a very pleasant, rounded aftertaste.
The 42% strength is just right for this gin, just strong enough.
Serve with light, sugar-free tonic a slice of citrus and a couple of ice cubes, cheers
